At Green Oasis School (GOS), we welcome applicants from all students regardless of nationality andbackground.Toensureweenrollthebestoftheavailablecandidates,wehaveintroducedaselectionprocessforinterview.
城市綠洲學(xué)校歡迎來(lái)自不同國(guó)家和背景的學(xué)生。為了確保我們招收到最好的候選人，以下是面試的選拔程序。
Beforebeingconsideredforadmissioninterviews,allapplicantsmust:
在篩選面試的候選人前，所有人必須：
· havesubmittedallofthepaperwork
· 已提交所有紙質(zhì)資料
· beapplyingforthecorrectacademicyeargroup· 申請(qǐng)正確的年級(jí)
Whenselectingcandidatesforinterview,prioritywillbegiventoapplicants:
在選擇面試候選人時(shí)，會(huì)優(yōu)先考慮：
· withsiblingsalreadyattheschool
· 有兄弟姐妹在學(xué)校
· according to their level of English on the admissions form – this will be further assessed attestingbyaGOSteacherorawrittenassessment

Once selected for admissions testing, the applicant’s further progress will depend upon his/herperformanceinanindependentassessmentprocessinformedbyteacherobservations一旦被選中參加入學(xué)考試，申請(qǐng)人的進(jìn)展將取決于他/她在教師觀察報(bào)告中獨(dú)立評(píng)估的表現(xiàn)。

The assessment process

InKS1childrenareassessedinaguidedplaysituationwithteachersevaluating,amongothersthings,theapplicantslevelofspokenandwrittenEnglish.Strongapplicantswilldemonstratemost,ifnotall,ofthefollowing:
KS1 的孩子在老師指導(dǎo)的游戲環(huán)境下接受英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)和書面的評(píng)估。較強(qiáng)的候選人將會(huì)表現(xiàn)出眾，如果不是，則關(guān)注：
· socializewell
· 社交能力強(qiáng)
· arecaringandempathetic
· 富有同情心和同理心
· playwithothers,sharingequipment
· 與他人玩耍并分享教具、玩具
· canfollowinstructionsinEnglish
· 可以理解英文的指令
· canrespondverballyinEnglish
· 可以用英語(yǔ)口頭回復(fù)
· areabletowritetheirnameandotherwords
· 可以書寫自己的名字和其他字詞
· haveaninterestinandunderstandingofnumbers· 理解數(shù)字和對(duì)其有興趣
Candidates who demonstrate some or all of these will also be considered depending upon the number ofvacancies.
根據(jù)學(xué)位的空缺數(shù)量，也會(huì)考慮表現(xiàn)出色的候選人。
InKS2,candidateswillsitanassessmentinMaths,readingandwriting.Goodcandidateswill:
在 KS2，候選人將在數(shù)學(xué)、閱讀和寫作方面接受評(píng)估。優(yōu)秀的候選人應(yīng)當(dāng)：
· Behavewell
· 表現(xiàn)良好
· scorewellinallareas

· answercomprehensionquestionsinawaythatshowsunderstandingofthetext· 理解文本并能回答問(wèn)題
· complete the written assessment showing a command of the written language that iscomparablewiththeyeargroupappliedfor
· 完成書面測(cè)試，顯示出與所申請(qǐng)的年級(jí)相匹配的書面語(yǔ)言能力Thesecandidateswillbeinvitedforanoralinterview.
候選人將被邀請(qǐng)參加口語(yǔ)面試
InKS3andKS4,candidateswillsitawrittenexaminMathematicsandEnglish(Year10studentswillalso be assessed in Science). Before proceeding to oral interview, applicants need to attain 60% ormoreontheEnglishpaper.
在 KS3 和 KS4，候選人將參加數(shù)學(xué)和英語(yǔ)的書面考試（10 年級(jí)學(xué)生要參加科學(xué)考試）。參加口語(yǔ)面試前，候選人的英語(yǔ)書面考試必須達(dá)到或高于 60 分。
FollowingthewrittenassessmentsforKS2‐4,applicationswillbeevaluatedandselectionwillbemadefororalinterviews.
KS2‐4 的書面測(cè)試結(jié)束后，候選人將被評(píng)估和篩選，并進(jìn)行口語(yǔ)面試。
At oralinterview,applicantswill speakwith theHead ofPrimary orSecondary (depending upon thesectionbeingapplied for).Thiswillbeaninformalconversationdesigned todeterminewhether thelevelofspokenEnglishisofacomparablelevelwiththeotherstudentsintheyeargroup.
在面試時(shí)，候選人將會(huì)與小學(xué)主任或中學(xué)主任面談（取決于申請(qǐng)的年級(jí)）。這是一個(gè)非正式的對(duì)話，旨在確定英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)是否與其他相同年級(jí)學(xué)生的水平一致。

At the same time as the oral interview, candidates parents will be invited for interview with thePrincipalandVicePrincipal.Therewillbeawiderangingconversationfocusingonthechildwhichwillfocuson:
